FAQ Grade Turmeric

Salem Turmeric 

Sourced from Salem, Tamil Nadu, this turmeric feature 2–4% curcumin, medium yellow colour, smooth uniform fingers, and medium to long size (3–7 cm). Ideal for bulk supply and processing use. 

Erode Turmeric 

Sourced from Erode, Tamil Nadu, known as the Turmeric City of India. Features bright yellow colour, moderate aroma, and medium to long finger size (3–7 cm) 2–4% curcumin. Suitable for bulk and export markets. 

Bulb Turmeric 

Central rhizome of the turmeric plant, thicker and heavier than fingers. Contains 2–3% curcumin, pale to medium yellow colour, mild aroma, and less pungent taste. Ideal for processing and powder use.
